Gather Center is focused on collaborative discoveries in individual empowerment and unity consciousness across artistic practices, research and interdisciplinary frontiers. Gather Center’s mission is to gather people, energy and ideas to synergize inspiration and coherence.
Artwork has the unique ability to visualize the unknown. Through varied forms of translation, media serves to illuminate unsettled conceits and expand awareness and possibilities.
Traditional art and tech media mingle to transform the nature of content saturation and modes of access for participants and viewers. Together we embody, innovate and co-create.
Gather Center is a registered nonprofit organization in Brooklyn, NY founded by artists Allison Harrell Mistier and Andre Mistier.

Allison Harrell Mistier
Cofounder, Executive Director
The presence of light in art, people and the universe propel Mistier’s mission across art, research, writing and nonprofit works. Called to facilitate healing, she transitioned from the path of doctor to that of artistic expression and energy work. She regards cultivating perception as an imperative medicinal modality and advocates for development of emotional awareness to parallel advances in intelligence. She mingles visualization and imagination with the scientific inquiry to explore the unknown. Spanning 20 years experience of artwork and literature she provides a unique view of artistic potential and facilitating the progress of expanding meanings across private and public projects.
Andre-Philippe Mistier
Cofounder, Director
Storytelling and the anthropological implications of mythology foster Mistier’s purposeful exploration of curation, theatre direction and content creation. Producing and performing musical arts since early youth, Mistier is deeply interested in wave based learning, healing and cultural impacts. Across 25 years, he continues to innovate the relationships of experience, performance and community.
John Mills-Pierre, III
Board Member, CFO
John Mills-Pierre III is excited to support the efforts of Gather Space as one of its board members to help the organization develop its community program and outreach. He is currently a Senior Vice President and Sr. Financial Advisor at UBS Wealth Management. He has spent the last 15 years working with families and their business/ philanthropic interests across both sides of the balance sheet. Prior, Mills served the public good as a Sr. consultant focusing on emergency management/ disaster planning for various urban areas including New York City, City of Chicago and Newport News. He also served a political appointee as the Director of Homeland Security and Public Safety for the City of Los Angeles while managing their $700MM grant portfolio of disaster preparedness and readiness initiatives. He holds a B.A. in Architecture & Economics from Yale University and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics. He also received his Executive Education in Public Sector Management from the USC Marshall School of Business.
He has a long standing interest and background to support Diversity in Figure Skating and supporting women and people of color in business. He is a native New Yorker and can be seen on the ice at Sky Rink during his spare time.

R Blake Miller is a New York–based independent consultant, curator, and arts administrator. Blake leads projects for art patrons and private professionals, and has overseen operations and partnerships for major museums, art fairs, galleries and arts organizations.
